The Legacy TEAM (Together Everyone Accomplishes More) is what we call our children's ministry at Shadow Hills Church.

We consider it an honor to partner with you on your child's spiritual journey. Our ministry exists to lay Biblical foundations in the lives of children, and to assist and motivate them in seeking out the plan God has for their life.



It is our goal that every time a child comes to Shadow Hills, they will be taught Bible Truths in fun, exciting, age appropriate ways. Caring teachers who are committed to laying Biblical foundations in a safe and loving environment will encourage and motivate them to follow Christ. In order to provide a safe, secure, teaching environment all of our leaders undergo a background check and application process.

Bible Study

At Shadow Hills children are a priority just as they were to Jesus Christ. We believe learning about God should be a fun and exciting experience for your child.

If you would like to find a class for your 1st - 5th grader please visit our Welcome Center in Modular A. Bible study opportunities are Saturday night at 6:15pm and Sunday at 9:00 and 10:30am.

Legacy TEAM Overtime

During the church-wide Gathering Classes for adults, we offer a variety of study topics for children. Topics may include "When I Get Mad", an anger management seminar, "Defense Against Strangers", a self-defense class, and "From the START", a creative look at Genesis chapters 1-8. Consult the Worship Guide for dates and locations.

Children's Choir

Children develop important skills while learning the importance of sharing God's love through music. We have an excellent staff of qualified leaders committed to teaching children spiritual concepts while experiencing and learning about music. Children's choir meets September-April in the Choir Room in the Worship Center.

Wednesday Nights

TeamKID

6:30 - 8:00pm (September - May)

This is a fun, high-energy ministry that encourages kids to know Jesus Christ and to grow in a relationship with Him. All parts of TeamKID-- Bible stories, Scripture memory, life application, missions, and recreation-- connect to teach life lessons to kids. 

Summer JAM

6:30pm - 8:00pm (June-July)

Kids will slide into their flip-flops and head for fun with Summer JAM - Jesus and Me! Join us as we learn how to have a relationship with Jesus, discover about missions around the world, play water games and have FUN!

Vacation Bible School

A week you don't want to miss! There's always something exciting going on each day as the love of Jesus is shared in unique and creative ways.

Children's Camp

July 11-16, 2010

For 3^rd to 5^th grade completed 2010 (must be 8 years old before October 1, 2009). Stop by the Children's Welcome Center in Modular A for more information. A week of camp is a life changing experience.

Fall Festival

This carnival style event is packed with fun, food, costumes, games and prizes.

Operation Christmas Child

Beginning in October

This is a special project taken on each year by our church family to provide shoe boxes filled with Christmas goodies for children all over the world.
