Early Childhood Education

At Shadow Hills Baptist Church, we have a HEART FOR CHILDREN. Our Bible-based curriculum is designed to teach preschoolers of all ages (even babies!) that God loves them and has a plan for them.

Weekly Ministries...

Weekly Bible Study for Preschoolers

Saturday Night
Bible study during the 5:00pm worship service is available for babies (3 months and up) through Pre-K. Bible study for all preschoolers (babies through Kindergarten) begins at 6:15pm

Sunday Morning

Age-appropriate Bible study is available for babies (3 months and up) through *Kindergarten at 9:00am and 10:30am. Classes accept children 15 minutes prior to Bible study times.  All classes are located in the Children's Center.

*Kindergartners are encouraged to attend the worship service with their family and only one hour of Bible study on Sunday Morning.

TeamKID - Wednesday Nights - 6:30 - 8:00 PM

The popular preschool curriculum TeamKID helps children from age three through Kindergarten grow spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally and socially. Preschool TeamKID includes missions and Bible skills each week and is taught using fun moving activities like arts, crafts, games, songs and manipulatives. This year's theme, "Look At Me", helps preschoolers and kindergarteners learn how to live like Jesus. Quality childcare is available for babies (3 months and up) through 2s.

Sunday Nights This Fall - 5:00 - 6:30pm

Begins October 3rd, 2010
DRIVING FORCE is a special 6 week video series that teaches preschoolers that Jesus should have first place in their life. They will learn how Jesus lived and practical ways to make Him the boss of their attitudes and actions. Classes are offered for babied through kindergarten in the Children's Center.

Special Events...

Fall Festival

This carnival style event is packed with fun, food, costumes, games and prizes. Held at the end of October. Everything is FREE and open to the public.

Operation Christmas Child

This is a special project taken on each year by our church to provide shoeboxes filled with Christmas goodies for children overseas. Emphasis begins in October.

Sweet Beginnings

Sweet Beginnings is our ministry to new and expectant moms. Fellowships and encouraging seminars are hosted throughout the year. Being a mom is the most important job on the planet and we are here to help you in any way we can!

Parent/Child Dedications

Dedications are scheduled throughout the year for members of Shadow Hills Baptist Church who have a child one year or under they wish to dedicate. Volunteers
